Looking for Desktop Blogging Software?

How do you write your blog posts? do you use the online interface, or a 3rd party application, I’ve listed a few good desktop blogging software applications, if you know of any more please add them.
Ecto is blogging software for the MacOSX and Windows. The software supports webblog systems such as Blogger, Blojsom, Drupal, MovableType, Nucleus, SquareSpace, TypePad, WordPress. You get a 21 day free trial and the cost for the software is $17.95
WB Editor – Browsing and Blogging Integrated
WB Editor 3 is the new release of WB Editor, This new release has a built in tabbed browser interface, browsing and commenting, managing categories, tagging and changing the blog theme can be done without leaving the program. The software as with them all supports all the main blogging platforms, Wordpress, Movable Type, Blogger etc… and extra plugins includes inserting YouTube, Facebook, Weather plugins.
Don’t know how long the trial version lasts but the overall cost for the software is £19.84, Have tried this software and it’s very feature rich, took around 5 mins to install with no problems and overall was excellent.
Rocket Post 2 – Smart Blogging Software
RocketPost has all the features you would expect, WYSIWYG editor, Full local editing, full blog import, picture editing, auto picture up loader, spell checker with multi word corrector. The RocketPost software also lets you earn referral fees by adding your affiliate codes to Amazon.com hyperlinks automatically. Support for all the top blogging platforms as with all the other ones.
The basic version is free & the home version is $37 per license
BlogJet – Posting Screen on Steroids
BlogJet is the software I’ve been using for a while now, it’s very stable easy to use and has a ton of features including Instant YouTube Video inserts, what music you are listening too as well as all the other features you would expect. The software is free to try and €30 to buy.

Windows live writer from Microsoft is a freeware application and supports Windows Live Spaces, Blogger, LiveJournal, Typepad Wordpress etc… not as feature rich as some of the others but it does the job, WYSIWYG editor, Photo publishing, Map Publishing and access to the Writer SDK
